This fabric was created in a collaboration between Japanese fabric manufacturer KOKKA and illustrator Junko Okubo to produce their limited edition "paper message sewing" series! This is a 100% cotton woven, a shirting or dressweight with a simple weave and a dry hand. It is nearly opaque and stable with cottony crispness in the drape. The "kawaii kitty" design has a 24.5" vertical repeat and features playful house cats and bouquets of flowers printed in pumpkin, lemon, rust, tan, cream, forget-me-not, spring green, black, white, etc. on a calm gray background (PANTONE 16-1337, 12-0738, 16-6329, 12-0812, 14-4501, etc.). Note the narrower width which is typical for Japanese fabrics. Make a delightfully unique shirt, shirt dress, tunic, lightweight bags and pouches, aprons, home decor, etc. If you wish to hand or machine wash, please test first. Hang to dry.
